For now, the standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque with the option of either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder which pumps out 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque with an eight-speed automatic transmission. An eTorque mild hybrid is offered with both engines for the Sahara Unlimited. Additionally, the Wrangler comes with a few four-wheel-drive systems including the Command-Trac part-time two-speed transfer case, Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with full-time four-wheel drive and the Rubicons Rock-Trac two-speed transfer case with 4.0:1 low-range gear.
