Drivers have four Gladiator trim levels to choose from in the 2021 model year. The base Sport trim comes outfitted with features like a eight-speaker sound system, crank windows, a 5-inch touchscreen, one USB port, cruise control, a fold-down windshield, a folding soft top, and removable doors. The upper trims add automatic headlights, smartphone integration, power accessories, a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, fenders with increased clearance, all-terrain tires, Fox shock absorbers, a reinforced frame, and suspension lifts.

In the 2021 model year, the Gladiator can be powered by one of two engines. The standard engine throughout the lineup is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that pumps out up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission match is a manual six-speed but an automatic eight-speed is offered. The second engine, a new addition for the 2021 model year, is a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 that pumps out 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive comes standard with every Gladiator trim and engine option.
