Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service throughout the customer’s car buying experience.
  • Become an expert in our product line-up and assist customers in selecting vehicles by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features.
  • Complete quotes, return email/voicemail, other administrative functions including customer credit applications and processing transaction paperwork.
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads, close sales, and gain referral business.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a sales representative required in either automotive sales, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, real estate, or insurance.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills

  • Grow your commercial customer base
  • Develop a weekly business contact plan for both existing and potential customers
  • Maintain a contact log for review with your supervisor
  • Communicate daily, to management, those business opportunities that present themselves and need quick information and follow-up with the customer
  • Meet with management weekly to review progress as well as issues that may need to be addressed
  • Become Commercial Certified through the Chrysler Performance Institute by completing the required curriculum within the first 120 days of employment
  • Stay informed as to inventory, sales, promotions, special financing, deliveries, etc. that are currently in effect.
  • Maintain customer information in the dealership’s database; Dealer Socket.
  • Assist, when requested, with special promotions that may occur from time to time. These promotions may include weekend work hours.

Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems; discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements
  • Test drive vehicles, components, and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

  • Chrysler certifications required
  • ASE certifications are ideal

Service Advisor

Our busy car dealership has an additional opening for a Service Advisor to better serve our customers. To ensure optimum customer service, we’re hiring a Service Advisor to work one-on-one with our clients. As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. Responsibilities
BDC Representatives are responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, as well as confirming sales appointments, performing long-term follow-up on unsold customers (e.g., internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls), and logging all customer interactions in our CRM System.

  • Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on new and used vehicles, including available stock and product features
  • Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects either by phone, email, or text in order to build productive relationships
  • Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
  • Works hard to meet performance goals set by the BDC Manager

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous call center, Internet sales, or sales experience a plus but not required
  • Must be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers
  • Must answer all phone calls and internet leads in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner
  • Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills so that all sales leads are handled appropriately
