Trim Levels of the 2019 Ram 1500

We can never overstate just how impressive the Ram 1500 truck is, especially when it was won numerous awards for the best large truck in the world. A lot of this has to deal with the redesign that occurred in 2019, which resulted in a reduction in weight, an increase in towing capabilities, added space in the rear seat area, and a mild hybrid power system to save more on gas. Besides those changes, the Ram 1500 stays true to previous iterations with a quiet cabin, a smooth ride, and a trim called Rebel which is entirely off-road oriented. Down below we’ll be discussing more of the trim levels, and what you can expect to find with each one!

When it comes to the base trim level of the Ram 1500, Ram doesn’t hold anything back. You’ll find features like cruise control, a locking tailgate, a 5-inch touchscreen, an auxiliary audio jack, automatic headlights, air conditioning, rear-seat USB charge ports, dual USB inputs, a Class III hitch receiver, heated side mirrors, a rearview camera, push-button ignition, trailer sway control, and a 40/20/40-split folding bench seat. Beyond these standard features, you can also add other things, such as chrome exterior trim, a Class IV hitch receiver, satellite radio, an electronic locking rear differential, a spray-in bedliner, trailer brake control, and towing mirrors.

When you move up through the 1500’s trim level lineup, you’ll come across the HFE trim. This trim includes many of the features that you’ll find with Tradesman, and it comes standard with rear-wheel drive. You’ll also get an increase in fuel efficiency, which is perfect for anyone planning on a long trip.

Big Horn:

Once you start moving towards the middle of the lineup, you come across Big Horn. This trim might also be called Lone Star, depending on the state that you’re in. Added standard features include cloth upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, floor carpet, tinted windows, a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat, and fog lights. If you want some added features, you can find Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED taillights and headlights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, larger fuel tanks, bed utilities, underbody protection, an air suspension, and dual-zone climate control.

Right smack dab in the middle of the lineup is Rebel. This off-road oriented model gives you all of the features you could need for your next great adventure. These features include LED headlights and fog lights, a power-adjustable driver seat, specialized off-road tires, an electronic-locking rear axle, satellite radio, hill descent control, a Class IV hitch receiver, skid plates, front tow hooks, a 115-power outlet, front bucket seats, and fortified shocks and suspension.

As we inch closer towards the top of the lineup, you hit the Laramie trim. This model gives you power-adjustable 40/20/40-split bench front seats, power-adjustable pedals with memory, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry, leather upholstery, driver-seat position memory, a heated steering wheel, and ventilated and heated front outboard seats. Beyond these features, you can upgrade with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two rear seat USB inputs, a 115-volt rear seat outlet, and a nine-speaker audio system.

The penultimate model that we’re checking out is Longhorn. This model comes with features like heated and ventilated reclining rear seats, 20-inch wheels, front bucket seats, a navigation system, automatic wipers, a leather-wrapped wood steering wheel, chrome side steps, automatic high beams, upgraded leather upholstery, and a spray-in bedliner.

The final trim available with the 2019 Ram 1500 is Limited. This trim includes premium-leather bucket seats, a standard adjustable air suspension, rear cross-traffic alert, chrome exterior trim, blind-spot monitoring, and power-retractable side steps.
