Trim Levels of the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

When a vehicle has been on sale for a while, things tend to go stale. Fortunately, this isn’t the case with the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Part of the reason this generation of Grand Cherokee has been successful is due to its terrific mixture of features. For example, with the 2020 Grand Cherokee, you will find all the latest driver safety aids as well as a sharp-looking infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The engine lineup has plenty of power with a standard V6 and three V8s. Additionally, this year’s Grand Cherokee has outstanding off-road and towing capabilities. The 7,200-pound towing capacity is top class. There is also a wide range of four-wheel-drive systems you can choose from that are more than happy to take you off the beaten path. Put simply, if you’re looking for a sturdy and off-road-capable SUV than the 2020 Jeep Cherokee is for you! Seven trim levels are available for the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, take a trip with us as we break down each one.

The base Laredo comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Features for the Laredo include rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

With the Limited and above, the V6 is standard, but you do have the option of a 5.7-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Features for the Limited include a remote start, a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, leather upholstery, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen.

The Trailhawk is off-road-focused, and it comes with off-road tires, four-wheel-drive with low-range gearing, and an electronic rear differential that works with a terrain-selectable traction control system. Also included is an adjustable air suspension and underbody skid plates.

The Overland is similarly equipped to the other trims but forgoes some of the Trailhawk’s off-road features.

The Summit leans more toward luxury, and it comes with a self-parking system, active noise-canceling technology, a host of safety features, upgraded leather upholstery, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

The SRT is a high-powered, high-performance SUV, and it comes with a 6.4-liter V8 with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Features include a specialized all-wheel-drive system, summer performance tires, an adaptive sport-tuned suspension, sport-tuned steering and breaks, a sport body kit, and a limited-slip rear differential and selectable performance modes.

The top-level trim is the Trackhawk, and it gets most of the SRT’s standard equipment while adding a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque with an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission. Also included are an upgraded adaptive suspension, Brembo breaks, and lightweight 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires.
