What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2012 Chrysler 300?
The NHTSA has issued 28 recalls affecting the 2012 Chrysler 300 covering airbags, electrical systems, transmission components, alternators, axle shafts and related modules. Key components impacted include the passenger air bag inflator (risk of inflator rupture), alternator failures that may cause stalling or fire risk, software and PCM/TCM issues that can affect cruise control disengagement, front driveshaft bolts on AWD vehicles, and radio software vulnerabilities that could allow unauthorized access. All manufacturer recall repairs are free; Kahlo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram uses factory-trained technicians and OEM parts to complete NHTSA recall work at no charge.
How do I check if my 2012 Chrysler 300 has an open recall?
You can check your VIN on the NHTSA recall search or bring the vehicle to our dealership and we will check for free. Visit NHTSA.gov and enter your vehicle VIN, or contact Kahlo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and we will verify open recalls for your 2012 Chrysler 300 and advise next steps.
