Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2024 Jeep Gladiator?
The NHTSA has issued 6 recalls affecting the 2024 Jeep Gladiator covering the driveshaft, two clutch-related recalls, backup camera software, seat belt retractors, and related software actions. These recalls include a driveshaft assembly issue that can cause overheating and fracture, two clutch assembly items that can overheat or require software torque reduction, a rearview camera software error, and front seat belt retractor replacements — all summarized from NHTSA records. Kahlo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (Kahlo CDJR) in Noblesville, IN, is a certified franchise dealer prepared to perform these manufacturer recall repairs free of charge using OEM parts and factory-trained technicians.
How do I check if my 2024 Jeep Gladiator has an open recall?
You can verify open recalls by checking your VIN at NHTSA.gov or by contacting our service team directly; we will check your vehicle’s recall status for free. Bring your VIN to Kahlo CDJR or call our service center and we will confirm NHTSA recall status, explain any required repairs, and help you schedule service if needed. We also recommend checking manufacturer notices; in many cases FCA/Chrysler will notify owners directly for recalls listed in the NHTSA database.
How much does a 2024 Jeep Gladiator recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are performed free of charge at an authorized dealer and Kahlo CDJR will complete the required recall work at no cost to you. If additional non-recall repairs are identified, our team will explain any optional services and present estimates; ask about current service specials and available service financing so you can get service now and pay later.
Can I get my 2024 Jeep Gladiator recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be performed by a certified franchise dealer to ensure OEM parts, correct diagnostics, and free manufacturer reimbursement; Kahlo CDJR is the local certified Jeep dealer in Noblesville for recall work. Independent shops cannot always perform manufacturer recall campaigns free of charge or access factory software updates and parts without dealer support, which is why the recall should be addressed at a franchised dealer.
How long does a 2024 Jeep Gladiator recall repair take?
Repair time varies by recall: most software updates or parts inspections take a few hours, while parts replacement like driveshaft or seat belt work may take longer; typical turnaround is same-day to a few days depending on parts availability. When you contact us to schedule service, Kahlo CDJR will provide a time estimate based on the specific recall and any parts lead time and offer convenient loaner or shuttle options when available.
Does an open recall affect my 2024 Jeep Gladiator's trade-in or resale value?
An unresolved recall can negatively affect trade-in and resale value because many buyers and dealers check NHTSA records and may discount or refuse vehicles with open safety recalls. Resolving recalls at Kahlo CDJR protects your vehicle’s value — you can also get a trade appraisal online at our trade-in page after recalls are completed.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2024 Jeep Gladiator recall?
Open safety recalls can impact inspections in some states if the recall affects safety-critical components; it’s safest to have open recalls repaired promptly by a certified dealer. Kahlo CDJR in Noblesville can verify recall status and complete required repairs for free to help ensure your vehicle complies with inspection and safety requirements.
